Field Roast Vegan Chao Slices Giveaway (Canada Only)
Winner has been selected!
I’m at ExpoWest and checking out all of the fantastic vegan products available, and one of my favourite things to do, is to give away stuff that’s hard to find (or not available at all yet) in Canada.
So, here it is – I’d like to give you one flavour of Field Roast’s Chao Cheese Slices.
I’ve tried these before, and plan on doing a full review in the future – but now I’m enjoying running around at ExpoWest, so for now, my one line review is: This is a versatile casual cheese slice – it’s great on bread, with apples, and has made a few appearances on some of my vegan cheeseboards in the past.
If you want to follow along on my ExpoWest vegan product finding adventures, check me out on instagram or facebook.

Where in Northern Ontario do you live please?
I live in Huntsville – wondering where I can buy this cheese??
I just, um, really want to try these. A lot. Mmmm. KTHXBAI
Thanks for sharing! Hoping this hits Canadian shelves, soon. I already dig the Field Roast products I’ve tried so I’ve got faith in the cheese 🙂
I want to have this cheese on a vegan sandwich. I’ve heard amazing things and hope it comes to BC.
My favorite thing to do with vegan cheese is to cube it and stir it into pasta.
Oh man, I’ve been dying to try these! I would make the most kick ass panini 🙂
I love to top pizza with cheese.
I like eating cheese with crackers or apple
The tomato cayenne one! I just love it so much. I dream of it. They didn’t have that flavour when I was in Chicago. 🙁
Oh MAN would I love to try these! My favourite thing to do with cheese is a pretty even split between grilled cheese and mac and cheese.
My favorite thing to do with cheese is a plain cheese sandwich (with white bread!!) or a grilled cheese. With vegan baloney. OMG.
Would love to be the lucky winner and try these slices.
I lovelovelove marmite and cheese on toast and this looks like it would be amazing.
I do love me some vegan cheese. I can’t wait to have cheeseboard smorgasbord mmmm

I love melting cheese. On almost anything!! Man I miss cheese.
I’ve always wanted to try Chao, the other Vegan cheeses just aren’t cutting it, and I only like Diaya if it’s melted..
I can’t wait to make the best ever gluten free, vegan mac and cheese! 🙂
My favourite thing to do with vegan cheese is to melt it on top of things until it gets all bubbly and stuff it in my face.
Vegan cheese on wasa or ryvita crackers with fancy mustard and sprouts. Yum!
Calling out from Calgary! We love you and all your products! Can’t wait to get my hands on this cheese
Cheese toast and tomato soup is a classic.
I remember this cheese well from my days in Portland. It’s absolutely delish. Cheese is to be eaten!
Cheese, cheese, everywhere!
Hmmmm…favourite thing to do with cheese…
I’d probably make a grilled cheese sammie and/or melt it on a veggie burger (on the BBQ! Yay spring!)
My favourite thing with cheese is probably just a nice classic grilled cheese! Even better with grainy bread and a side of pickles and tomato soup. I used to have a panini pan and I’d make ~fancy~ grilled cheese with pesto and olives and ham (and eventually faux ham, after I stopped eating meat). Suuuuuuper delicious.
