This month my partner in vegan food swappery<\/a> was Jodi from Simply Fresh<\/a>. She sent me several delightful local Ottawa products and I really enjoyed getting introduced to them.<\/p>\n

I thought it was pretty cool that these were all companies\/individuals that Jodi had spoken to on her website before. It’s nice to sort of “meet” the companies behind the products in both eating them, and learning a bit more about them beyond the usual corporate\/web presence.<\/p>\n

JC finished the Kawalsa Salsa<\/a> before I \u00a0could really get a decent picture of it. It had such\u00a0interesting\u00a0flavours, and totally demonstrated truth in labelling since this “Smokey Spicy Salsa” was so smokey, and so deliciously spicy.<\/p>\n
