I put it in my calendar for this week (which is the only way to make sure something happens) and I&#8217;m so glad I did.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1445.RAF_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-813\" title=\"Trinity-Bellwoods Farmers Market\" src=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1445.RAF_-1024x658.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1445.RAF_-1024x658.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1445.RAF_-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1445.RAF_.jpg 1937w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tbfm.ca\/\">Trinity-Bellwoods Farmers&#8217; Market<\/a> happens every Tuesday between 3pm-7pm.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1447.RAF_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-814\" title=\"Oat Fruit Cookies from The Local Cafe\" src=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1447.RAF_-1024x772.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1447.RAF_-1024x772.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1447.RAF_-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>JC met me at the statue in the middle of the park. Or rather, I met him, because he got there before I did. As a cookie based reward system we picked up two Oat Fruit cookies from The Local Cafe \/ <a href=\"http:\/\/thebuskitchen.blogspot.ca\/\">The Bus Kitchen<\/a>. They also had a vegan quinoa salad, and earlier in the day empanadas! Not all of their products are vegan, but some of them are.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1448.RAF_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-815\" title=\"Cookie from The Local Cafe \/ The Bus Kitchen\" src=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1448.RAF_-1024x772.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1448.RAF_-1024x772.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1448.RAF_-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For me, an easy favourite was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tbfm.ca\/purveyor\/4\">Monkton Organic Farm and Bakery<\/a> &#8211; we picked up two loaves of bread (Olive loaf as well as a Sundried Tomato &amp; Rosemary) and 5lb bag of freshly milled flour (made from wheat grown on their land). I love the idea of a micro mill. I&#8217;ll be watching out for them on future trips to the market. With the obvious exception of challah, most breads were vegan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1451.RAF_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-817\" title=\"Bread at Trinity-Bellwoods\" src=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1451.RAF_-1024x772.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1451.RAF_-1024x772.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/meshell.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/DSCF1451.RAF_-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stasispreserves.com\/\">Stasis Preserves<\/a> has become one my favourite local makers of jams, jellies, chutneys, and sauces. We picked up a jar of ketchup and two onion chutneys (one sweet with pear, and one savory with mustard seed) that I&#8217;m looking forward to combining with the samosas we bought from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sultanofsamosas.com\/\">Sultan of Samosa<\/a>. I&#8217;ve seen him at the St. Lawrence Market, but he has also opened up a storefront on Roncy.
