It&#8217;s not as crowded, the security process is quick and easy, and there is a lounge space with free wifi and free drinks (like coffee, tea, juice, and soda.)<\/p>\n<p>JC and I weren&#8217;t sitting together on the plane (that&#8217;s what we get for booking separately!) so I got some quality time with my kobo (incidentally, if you haven&#8217;t read Quiet: The Power of Introverts by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thepowerofintroverts.com\/about-the-author\/\">Susan Cain<\/a>, it&#8217;s\u00a0fascinating.) The one thing I like about porter is the snacks are a few steps above the usual stuff. Vegan options included Terra chips and plain blue diamond almonds. Top that off with a nice golden glass of vegan friendly\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.steamwhistle.ca\/\">Steam Whistle<\/a> (a Toronto brewer,) and I almost forgot I was in a plane.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"steam whistle on porter by MeShellG, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/prairiev\/6907470112\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5080\/6907470112_e799dd15be.jpg\" alt=\"steam whistle on porter\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our first stop after checking into our hotel was the <a href=\"http:\/\/flourbakery.com\/\">Flour Bakery and Cafe<\/a> (12 Farnsworth St., Boston MA). And with Jerry Holkins (<a href=\"http:\/\/penny-arcade.com\/comic\">Tycho on PA<\/a>,) it was hilarious (and of course, now we both want to play the game.)<\/p>\n<p>JC and I don&#8217;t have Saturday passes for PAX East so instead we&#8217;re going to explore Boston, and use our Charlie Cards (a bus pass) as much as possible.
