One of my favourite yearly food events is coming soon – Soupalicious Toronto will be on September 28th from noon to 4pm at the Wychwood Barns.
There are always a lovely amount of #vegan entries, and $15 (in advance) lets you try 10 soups from many different restaurants and chefs. It also goes to a great cause Plant a Row – Grow a Row National.
I used to find out which soups were vegan before the event happened, but they’ve just started listing it all on their website, some of them sound delicious, and some of the “vegetarian” ones are also often vegan. You can see some of my finds at Soupalicious 2011.
There is something for nearly everyone, check out the list of soups here.

“Sip, Slurp and Savour” our local harvests and culinary soup sensations from the leading “cream of the crop” chefs, restaurants and caterers of Toronto.
Now an annual treat of Toronto’s food event scene that has the added flavour of also supporting local food-growing & sharing through the Plant a Row – Grow a Row program while bubbling over with a Zero Waste flair.
A soup-er celebration that’s not-to-be-missed.
